‘Still Life’, 2025 

 

Still Life is a not-so-still life, portraying plant petals whose colors and tones shift slowly over time, creating a quiet, poetic transformation. Inspired by my early studies in biology, I wanted to create images presented in extreme close-up, revealing details that evoke a microscopic perspective. Through this magnified encounter, viewers are invited to observe delicate textures, subtle movements, and to reimagine the dynamics of the natural world—familiar forms becoming unexpectedly vivid and alive. The piece moves fluidly between motion and stillness, dissolving the boundary between the still life and not so still life.
